We should be hitting around on Grove the second time through. So far it has looked fugly.

 

Realistically only 2 guys had good PAs. Hopefully second time around they lock in. This happened pretty regularly when the Jays haven’t seen a pitcher yet, they look like rusty gates the first time through.

Its getting tougher and tougher to justify his spot as an everyday player. He can’t just play because of who he was traded for. He might have to take a seat and clear his head get ready for Defense and Pinch Running roles.

 

Maybe Atkins gets creative and trades Kirk (for enough soda pop to keep the machine filled the rest of the season) and move Varsho behind the plate to platoon with Jansen.
