This is what happens when you need to rely on BABIP and weak contact to be a good pitcher.

This is why strikeouts should always be king when fielding a rotation.

Well thank God for Gausman and Kikuchi

Manoah is a cheap pitcher even if he is our 5th pitcher. Most teams would be happy to have him.

Also, if you expect this FO to EVER prioritize strikeouts, then you won’t be happy.

Holy s***

If we started a best of 3 WC series tomorrow I'd want to see Gausman and Kikuchi start games 1 and 2, Bassitt or Berrios game 3 if needed and probably Bassitt

Manoah just... No. Not right now. He needs to work on some things.

And here I got ridiculed by a couple posters yesterday for suggesting the Jays could be in last place in the AL East! This team is a f*cking joke!!

lol ok

Manoah really is our #5.

He's not fooling anyone.

He fooled enough people to get a 6 part documentary series

He is right now

I think good chance he isn't by mid season

You mean the season is longer than 6 weeks?

Unfortunately, that seems to be correct with the rotation at least.

Bassitt, Manoah, and even Berrios to an extent (8-9 K/9 prior to extension).

Its definitely an organizational choice. If we could develop pitching the way smart teams do, we would probably have done so already.

However, i still think we make the playoffs this year.

It’s more than just defence. Hitting is not there, pitching bad.

We scored a lot of runs in the last 3 games we lost.
