Theres no shot they can't change the bullpen after this game lol

They can bring up Thompson to be a long guy which seems like they need. They could also start stretching out Pop to be a long man. Pop has been a starter before.

I think that ace comment killed Gausman

lol

nope, not that. I made the same comment last game he pitched and he was great... so there lol

Gaus had to be tipping, they were on everything and barely any swings and misses. Plus add to that bad control today and you get that steamy dump of a start.

Fair enough! Didn’t intend to call you out and just was light relief for the brutal start to this game

Went through this last year. If teams recognize offspeed its an auto ball or if the pitch is low auto ball. Gausman has to throw offspeed for strikes and throw low strikes

Mitch White is the long man, bro.

Fastballs down in the zone and then they start missing the split...interesting

Idk man, the fact that it changed so suddenly from the 1st to the 2nd makes me think it was tipping

The team's pitching (mainly starting pitching) quality hasn't changed compared to last year... You can't win many games if your starting arms are giving up too many runs early..

The odds they fixed tipping in 1 half inning is very low

How come Biggio keeps getting so many starts when he is hitting sub .150 and is a worse defender than Espy?

It’s pretty simple actually. Biggio faces RHP and Espinal faces LHP. They have both sucked so far. It’s not that deep.
