Like second base in this situation is a free base. They aren’t going to throw with Kiermaier at third

I don't think you need to steal down by 3.

Staying out of the double play is pretty key at this point.

The same could be said for not giving them free outs on runners that don't matter. I don't know the percentages, but traditional logic suggests you don't run.

He let two good pitches go by, swing at the one not near the zone. Frustrating

Yeah he got 2 meaty fastballs to hit down the middle. Ah well.

Ug

What a s***** game

Felt like we should have had 3+ runs early on and it just didn't happen

Just 1 hit in those early innings and its a completely different game. And the errors… not a great day for the boys

Is 7 walks though 5 innings and no runs scored a record of some sort?

It was worse than that. We had no hits either.

Looked like week 1 of spring training today. I don't think the Jays had one good swing.

Maybe Kiermaier's single was on the barrel, sort of?

A couple of defensive plays that should have been made also. One by a GG who is normally bank and the other by a guy subbing for a guy who I think makes the play and gets an out..

Hardest hit ball (107.9) was Chapman's potential DP that was bobbled at 2B.
