I would be in favour of the Saturday double the points be carried over to the next game until there is a home run and still have it every Saturday.

 

I also think that the points can only be changed for the batters on Mondays by Dylan if there is a need.

 

How about one point for every 2 strikeouts if you pick a pitcher?

This wouldn't work. Starters not counting bullpen starters are at 440 K already this year.

I really just think we should have the ability to select no home runs for 1 point, and cap points (per individual home run) at maybe 10 points even on double Saturdays.

 

For next year it would be interesting to maybe also award 1 point if your home run choice gets one or more hits in the game (maybe instead of a no home runs option) and start the lowest home run value at 2 or 3 instead of 1. This would be a little more overhead, but it would probably eliminate days where no one gets any points.

I'll start doing this.

 

I'm also okay with carrying over double points day until one is hit. What if one is hit but nobody picked them? Would that stop it?

 

I'm not feeling picking pitchers but I'd be okay with no home runs as one point but it kinda defeats the excitement of home runs. Min player points should be 2 then.
