John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted March 15, 2023 Posted March 15, 2023 Just pop in Springer for Merrifield and that's your top 6 against RHP in the regular season too.

John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted March 15, 2023 Posted March 15, 2023 Chapman 7th? Yeha probably. Maybe he goes 6th and Varsho 7th. It's kinda weird that with all the lefties they brought in, only 1 will be hitting in the top 5 or 6 in the lineup and the flexibility is really just for the bottom. Im sure Schneider will move guys around depending on their hot streaks and other guys days off that they will get some PAs towards the top but overall, the only lefty I'd want in the top 4 or 5 consistently would be Belt.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted March 15, 2023 Posted March 15, 2023 Lukes and Lopez both making it a hard decision who gets the last bench spot. ya love to see it.
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted March 15, 2023 Author Posted March 15, 2023 Nice double by Kirk
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted March 15, 2023 Posted March 15, 2023 Perdomo's pickoff moves looks very much like a textbook balk.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted March 15, 2023 Posted March 15, 2023 Pretty sure Perdomo never threw a 95 mph 4 seamer when he was with the Jays farm system. **edit** I was wrong, he was up to 97 back then. Damn.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted March 15, 2023 Posted March 15, 2023 Gausman was killer it looks like

Yeah our strongest 3-4 hitters on the team are all still righties, Bo-Vlad-Springer-Kirk. Possibly could see a scenario where Belt hits 3rd or something if he looks good, pushing Varsho to 6th? Something like: Springer Vlad Belt Bo Kirk Varsho Chapman Merrifield KK

Something like: Springer Vlad Belt Bo Kirk Varsho Chapman Merrifield KK To start the season I think I like below: Vs RH 1. RF Springer 2. SS Bichette 3. 1B Guerrero Jr 4. DH Belt 5. C Kirk/Jansen 6. LF Varsho 7. 3B Chapman 8. CF Kiermaier 9. 2B Biggio Vs LH 1. RF Springer 2. SS Bichette 3. 1B Guerrero Jr 4. DH Kirk/Jansen 5. C Kirk/Jansen 6. 3B Chapman 7. CF Varsho 8. LF Merryfield/Lopez 9. 2B Espinal

I would like to see him get 350-500 at bats. But I'm thinking Whitfield gets more starts and bats 8th or so.
