Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted September 18, 2022 Posted September 18, 2022 Of course but he's covering the SB attempt, that's how hit and runs work Jonn. This game might end in misery, FFS's. I have faith. I'm aware Spanky lol. I am just saying how the little things can change so much.
Jaysareus Verified Member Posted September 18, 2022 Posted September 18, 2022 Get Morano out of there
Kordesi Verified Member Posted September 18, 2022 Posted September 18, 2022 Just looking at probabilities he can’t always have saves
jaysthebest Verified Member Posted September 18, 2022 Posted September 18, 2022 Romano sucks. Period.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 18, 2022 Posted September 18, 2022 Obviously but it doesn't hurt to be a bit unpredictable. Both those sliders hit were up too. A 3-2 slider low to BB Mullins and now in the heart of the order. In deep now. Yeah, and my argument is, does he need to be? Everyone knows he's throwing sliders all the time and yet most of the time (this game notwithstanding) it's effective.

Jaysareus Verified Member Posted September 18, 2022 Posted September 18, 2022 Never takes the jays to sweep a series
BuckHenry Verified Member Posted September 18, 2022 Posted September 18, 2022 Oh oh … thought Romano was already struggling a bit already yesterday.

Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted September 18, 2022 Posted September 18, 2022 I am just not sure why we shift against Adley when he has consistently shown - this very series and game including - that he can go the other way.
el duque Verified Member Posted September 18, 2022 Posted September 18, 2022 All hits were actually at the right place, no really hard contact against Romano
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted September 18, 2022 Posted September 18, 2022 Jays can still come back if they keep it right here.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 18, 2022 Posted September 18, 2022 LETS GO BLUE JAYS *CLAP, CLAP* *CLAP, CLAP, CLAP* LETS GO BLUE JAYS *CLAP, CLAP* *CLAP, CLAP, CLAP* LETS GO BLUE JAYS *CLAP, CLAP* *CLAP, CLAP, CLAP* Hey Orioles...
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted September 18, 2022 Posted September 18, 2022 All hits were actually at the right place, no really hard contact against Romano I think Espinal moved too fast and it cost us the dp. just saying

jaysthebest Verified Member Posted September 18, 2022 Posted September 18, 2022 Everyone's blaming the shift and the Jays' fielding, but Romano is the one who pitched awfully.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted September 18, 2022 Posted September 18, 2022 Yeah, and my argument is, does he need to be? Everyone knows he's throwing sliders all the time and yet most of the time (this game notwithstanding) it's effective. I know that's your argument. Game of adjustments. In this case I don't that it was the first pitch sliders as much as he hung them both up. And the hit and run cost us with Espy moving to cover. Ruschman hit 98 to the left side. Romano has been lucky and good a lot. Not today.

I just checked his spray chart. Tons of hits the other way. Shifting against him is idiotic. At this point, I am glad MLB is banning the shift because the Blue Jays think they are awesome at it when in reality they f***ing suck.

Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted September 18, 2022 Posted September 18, 2022 It really makes you wonder how guys like this can just appear out of nowhere. Monster on the mound with an electric arm.

Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted September 18, 2022 Posted September 18, 2022 Letting Espinal face RHP in that situation is pretty inexcusable
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted September 18, 2022 Posted September 18, 2022 If you watch the replay you will see Espinal taking two steps to his right when the ball was hit taking him out of position, if he didn't move it was an easy double play.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 18, 2022 Posted September 18, 2022 How big was that Vavra catch on Tapia... Grrr...
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted September 18, 2022 Posted September 18, 2022 Judge hit 59 Nobody cares about the runner up for AL MVP.
