He's mostly a GBall pitcher that has a chance of getting BABIP'd; he just can't walk or hit batters to add to that - which he has been doing since ASB.

Cimber is a decent RP for a long regular season, not a lot of wear and tear on his arm it seems they can pitch him quite a bit and for more than an inning and hes mostly successful.

 

having said that I would never want to see him coming out of the pen in a high leverage situation anything later than the 5th in the post season.

 

Romano, Garcia, Bass are all ahead of him for me easily, Pearson and Merryweather could also leapfrog him with a few good showings down the stretch.

To his credit, new pitcher, 2 straight balls - you could assume he doesn't have command and just wait it out

He should be licking his chops for a pitch like that in that count.. especially with a 4 run lead. Concerning to watch

I agree. Hopefully we don’t see Cimber come into the game in a key situation in October
