There have been rumblings/rumors about robo umps and no shifts for 2023, but nothing confirmed yet.

Isnt Robo umps 2024. I thought I saw some players say there are still issues with it to be fixed even if they want to do it by 2024

I'm a big KBO fan and they hardly shift because these guys are all great contact hitters and can easily beat it. In my opinion, if a batter can't adapt, it's on him. The league shouldn't be catering to these 1 dimensional hitters.

But then again I'm not a fan of a lot of the changes that Manfred's made and they seem to be popular so what do I know lol

LMAO listening to Buck's fishing stories while I'm high.

"dolphin fish are not like the flipper dolphin, so don't worry we're not hurting any "flipper" dolphins. Holy f***..

Pretty much confirmed. Probably something similar to the minors test where they had to have 2 players on each side of 2B

I dont like it at all in general. Let defenses play how they want

Exactly. It's just moving the game backwards. I like in late close game situations, managers would bring in an infielder from the outfield. It's a strategy as old as time. Baseball's a game based on tradition, and it's a detriment to the integrity of the game when the commissioner starts flailing around with these gimmicky cheap fixes.

I love the analytical aspect that shifting brings to the game. I don't get why'd cater to the hitters like this. Very very lame.

Vlad why the f*** are you swinging at a slider low and away with 1 strike on you. Stupid

And then grounds a high fastball somehow

Vladdy can't be serious looking into the dugout after the first pitch and gestures for the hat shake.

Love the guy but that actually pissed me off!

100! Have we seen that before this season from a Jays pitcher?

Ryu might’ve hit 100 a couple times earlier this year
