It’s a good team but definitely not good enough.

When they took the first two games of this series (especially with Kikuchi & Berrios pitching) and had won 4 out of 5, I thought they might get something going, but now it’s looking like they lose 3 straight and are back to 4-4 in their last 8 games.

 

This team just can’t seem to put any sort of winning streak together. They’re playing a whole lot of .500 ball.

 

I’ll still maintain the fact that Gausman getting hurt early in game 1 of the doubleheader f***ed them for those 2 games. 4-4 isn’t exactly what you want but its been the bullpen that’s lost them all 4 of those games.

 

Needs to be addressed

We need to spend big at this deadline to fix the pitching. And the next one and the next one until we run out of farm and our window closes because we can’t produce our own pitching or put together a bullpen.

I think everyone knew Tampa would win this series. Jays have never had success vs tampa. But you have to admire Tampa for letting the jays at least win on Canada day
