DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2022 Posted June 22, 2022 Didn't some of us say at the beginning of the season that this pen wasn't good enough? It cost us a playoff berth last season. Hope it doesn't cost us something again this year. It’s been a blind spot for shatkins.

Dagagad Verified Member Posted June 22, 2022 Posted June 22, 2022 Seems like a pretty good reason to trade prospects for pen help to me Sure. I’d also see about making some changes within the org. It’s been 6 years and one starting pitcher and 2 ok relievers. It’s not good enough. I’m sure we could hire people from the rays.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2022 Posted June 22, 2022 When people have to say that about every bullpen guy, it's time to start looking at the people responsible for putting this steaming pile of crap together... Yeah.. As a front office if you haven't figured out that a strong pen is key, then we're in trouble.

It’s not good enough. Exactly... whatever our process for pitching development is needs to be completely overhauled. It's pathetic to have such little pitching success in Shatkins 6/7 years on the job.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2022 Posted June 22, 2022 The pen is being overused by Charlie. The arms are fine. Them getting up and getting warm every game is the problem imo. We're mid-pack in innings from the pen, but we're 4th in appearances.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2022 Posted June 22, 2022 Its the top of their order coming up and ... might be Castillo coming... so. lol. Yep, we need like 4 to 5 runs.
Jaysareus Verified Member Posted June 22, 2022 Posted June 22, 2022 There's too much to repair in the jays pen
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2022 Posted June 22, 2022 We're going to need more than 1 run this inning. The white Sox have the heart of their order up against whatever scrub we put in.

However they're deciphering the analytics in our organization doesn't seem to factor in that very important part lol.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2022 Posted June 22, 2022 Gurriel should steal here, I doubt they throw through.
Jaysareus Verified Member Posted June 22, 2022 Posted June 22, 2022 This Chicago pitcher is going to kill someone
