Bro, it’s not a break even for market value. 3 WAR players aren’t getting $30m year. I don’t know what that 1W-$10m thing represents, but it doesn’t represent actual market value

 

I'm surprised nobody followed up on this post. So you don't know what $10M/ 1 WAR represents but you decided to comment anyways. Of course market value is only what somebody is willing to pay. My understanding is that if you can get about 1 WAR for every $8-10 M spent, then you at least got decent value for the contract. Current market is an ever fluctuating thing.

Well, we need a big 9th. I'm liking what I've seen from Gage so far.

 

Kind of surprising to see a guy with an 8.10 ERA sent out in the top of the 9th with a 3 run lead.
