Manoah with a split would be amazing

 

Splitting hairs but with his sinker/2-seam I think a circle change would be more effective, I think the lateral movement could benefit him more than downward vertical as it would tunnel better with his arsenal.

He throws that now right with varying levels of success. Apparently Gausman has been working with him on a pitch

Yeah I think he just doesn't have the feel for the change just yet, his stuff is just good enough to dominate without one but once he works on it and is more consistent it'll elevate him to the next level.

I wonder if Gausman has been helping with that or a "new" one like a split
