Gurriel deserves to eat in the two spot at least until Teo is back. Bo shouldn't be trying to find himself in a crucial part of the order.

Watching some of these at bats....the Jays hitters look lost. They look like a bad team at the plate. Yesterday they were gifted with a run due to bad defense by the opponent and looks like that is all they will manage again today....and looking like s*** doing it.

Decent outing for Manoah. Gonna need to see some more K’s next time though.

Are you kidding? He had a 7:1 K/BB in 7 innings, and honestly should've been 8:0 with robo umps. Manoah was excellent.

Yeah, he was fantastic. Nothing to nitpick here lol.

Decribing this offense as anemic is an offense to anemia.

Nothing compared to what they're saying at the talksox forum gdt.

Yeah but he gave up 3 hits. Gonna need to see less hits next time

I mean, you sort of HAVE to provide examples now...

Bo/Chapman are having some ugly swings of late; definitely afraid for May with the Yankees/Angels/Mariners matchups.

Yeah, they're just completely out of sorts. Swinging at literally everything out of the zone and nothing in the zone. Bo you dont even need to throw near the plate right now... his approach and pitch recognition is just bad

Alright, you asked for it:

If they hadn't dropped those 5 games under Venable, they'd be in 1st place.

I'm rethinking my massive support of Cora. That team wasn’t ready to play, and this team came out of the gates pretty listless too.

The cumulative WAR for today's starting Sox lineup is -.7.

oday’s lineup has to be one of the worst lineups the Red Sox I’ve ever put on the field. The bottom six guys aren’t hitting their weight.

The best part of today's Sox lineup? Our DH is hitless for the season.

This pitiful offense once again.

Manoah is a very good pitcher. The SOX only hope is the Jays' BP.

I think the hitters are trying to see who can get the lowest OPS on the team

This Manoah has some serious stuff; he is good.

Based on what's going on in the SOX organization at this point, I believe the following is a serious question to ask. Will the SOX be better than the O's next season?

The dreaded runner on 2nd with no outs. Pathetic.

Gave up a double which I found pretty unacceptable.

I'm intrigued by the fact that Tapia seems to be hitting the ball in the air a lot more lately, and he's hitting the ball hard.

His GB % has dropped below 50% in the past 2 weeks, he's topped out at 109.1MPH EV, his hard hit % over that time is 37.8% (only Collins has a better HH% over that span).

The results are ABSOLUTELY not there, but there's some interesting stuff under the hood.
