I have several times. Every time I do the blood massively rushing into my naughty parts causes me to pass out.

 

I actually think adding Freeman into the lineup and grabbing a cheaper defensive 3b piece is a valid option rather than trading the farm for Ramirez. Still need pitching help in either scenario though

They won't move Vlad strictly to DH, keep dreaming boys.

Nah he and Freeman can split 1b and DH. I know it won’t happen, but it could work

I doubt 3rd base is a remission to that over there. Vlad's a 1B.

 

I actually think the new slimmer Vlad would likely make a very good third baseman. He is very agile for a big man, his hands are good and the plus arm is perfect for the position. I wish the club would have given Vlad a longer look at third base last spring to see what he could do, he 100% would have been more suitable for the position than Biggio at the very least.

I think if Tellez had been hitting at all earlier in the season, they would have tried Vlad at 3B and Tellez at 1B for a bit. Biggio was crap at 3B but they had no reason to try moving Vladdy off of 1B.

 

If signing a guy like Freeman is a real possibility, I think you gotta at least try to make it work.

 

Miguel Cabrera was able to move back to 3B and play adequately enough for 2 seasons at a much older age with a lot less skill there than Vlad has.

The Brewers have had so many chances, can't get the big hit. I bet Pederson's in the lineup next game, that's 2 big PH dingers... the last one being the difference, unless the Brew Crew can get to Smith here.
