Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted September 21, 2021 Posted September 21, 2021 Vlad hits it hard right at the guy. Rays always seem perfectly shifted
King Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2021 Posted September 21, 2021 Baz is going to dominate this division for a long time. The Rays just keep doing it. f***ing Pirates man He looks like the most sure fire ace you can have in a prospect. I don't remember the last time I saw a pitching prospect come up and look this good
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2021 Posted September 21, 2021 Baz looks like he was made in a pitching factory. lol... same as Bo's bat speed, lol
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2021 Posted September 21, 2021 Is Baz post season eligible? If on the 40 man, yes.
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2021 Posted September 21, 2021 How do the Rays shift so well? Why do we not have this technology/strategist?
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2021 Posted September 21, 2021 Ray brought out the changeup too! Dude is going for it tonight.
InsideThePark Verified Member Posted September 21, 2021 Posted September 21, 2021 GJ 3B ump too. You could see him note that when KK was going back to 2nd. Not sure why he didn't say anything until the appeal though. The runner isn't out in that situation unless the Jays tag 3rd as an appeal. Similar to the Runner missing 1st base a month ago, the Jays had to appeal. The umpire didn't say anything until the appeal because until the Jays appeal the runner is still safe. Might be dumb, but that's the way it is.
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2021 Posted September 21, 2021 This is so nerve wracking.

Might be dumb, but that's the way it is. It's not dumb at all, the ump can't say whether a runner touches a base or not unless he is asked, or it's a play at that base that he needs to make a call of safe or out. Can you imagine the shitshow if umps said stuff while a runner was rounding the bases and a fielder heard "he missed second" from the ump?
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2021 Posted September 21, 2021 Thought he was safe live

DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2021 Posted September 21, 2021 Ump not giving him any calls
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2021 Posted September 21, 2021 Ray JUST missing with these pitches No kidding, Luplow has eagle eyes I guess. Those are really close pitches to take with 2 strikes.
