Why so many Jays tickets available for today's game?

On a whim I decided to check for tickets fully expecting them to be sold out. To my surprise there are tons of tickets left. In a playoff spot and we can't sell out 15K tickets? What are we, the Rays?

A lot of people are probably still crowd shy, particularly with school having started.

 

There aren't THAT many tickets available though if you look at the map. Many or all will sell during the day I suspect.

That would be part of the reason.

I'm sure it's plenty of factors, but the Rays are a bad draw in just about every sense. They just don't generate the type of interest that meshes with how good of a team they are.
