So Springer clearly looking worse than he did in the Orioles series when he first came back... looks to be getting progressively worse each day.

Why is he playing and getting no rest days to boot?

Why is he playing? Have you seen the standings?

26 games left. Assuming Springer can still walk after today, isn't there some Kawhi Leonard like load management thing, where Springer DHs 18/26 games left, Kirk 8, and that optimizes the number of wins? Or do you think Springer every day no matter what optimizes the number of wins?

Is it just me, or is everyone liking the fact that AL East teams seem to be in a lot of high scoring games recently? Particularly against each other. If pitching is falling apart and bats are getting hot, I like the Jays chances to win that battle. Especially since the Jays starters are holding it together.

Positive thinking, I like it. Whether it's right or not.

So is anyone here still complaining that the front office didn't sell off Ray and Semien at the trade deadline? Seriously f*** that loser mentality ********, this is an uber talented team that can make some serious noise in the playoffs if they manage to get in. I for one sure as hell prefer to give the team a shot to go on a run in the second half and get treated to meaningful baseball in September rather than pack it in and plan for next year.

Anyone else feel like Ryu was ramping it up this game and that's why he had to pull himself out early? Glad it all worked out.

I think was more because they did not want judge stanton to see him a third time. He should of went out on a short leash could of saved 1 of Richard's or cimber. Those 2 are going to be key down the stretch

I was hacked when I suggested they should have considered selling (and buying simultaneously) at the deadline to prepare for 2022. It wasn't actually me.

I hate when that happens.

Was listening to the radio broadcast last night and Wagner said Ryu was throwing a bunch of sliders which he doesn't normally do, and it put some extra strain on his arm which he was not anticipating. Decided he should call it quits before he injured something. He has not seen a doctor yet and doesn't expect to miss his next start.
