It’s ground ball after ground ball. Seems like Vlad forgot how to elevate the ball. Wonder where his average will finish this year if this continues

By the allstar break Vlad seemed like a lock for 50 homeruns, now its looking like he'll struggle to hit 40

He's not wrong about pitchers not giving into him and nibbling. He's getting himself out. Guess we can take that gift run.

 

His timing is off..he had two pitches down the middle and missed them..he makes it out like vlad never gets pitches to hit...he has missed a lot of hangers he was not missing before...

I didn't really get the no power thing. He stings liners all over and has a .481 career slug. That might not be big time slugger power, but it's above average and way better than you'll find on most benches. Buck made it sound like he was a slap hitter.

 

I know, it was egregious, I got legit mad, hard to do.

They’re 5-56 (.089) with RISP the last 8 games (0-19 this series). They’re in a slump right now regardless of the rest of the season.

 

And one of those 5 hits was an infield single with a runner on 2nd that didn’t score a run.

 

Settle down champ, I'm aware. I mean they've showed it this entire weekend series on the broadcasts, plus your intensive updates every f***ing time it's an O-fer. They still have the talent to click, don't be an idiot.

3 pitching duels basically, every game aside from the late inning theatrics Friday night.
