Why do they have Ricky Romaro on the broadcast now? Just to go to him once a game where he tells us that he would have left the starter in?

It's the same thing majority of people have been saying all year too though. Trust our starters who are doing well and stop trusting the turd of a bullpen we've assembled.

Adjust your game plan to what we have available and what we see, not be stubborn to what you think our team should be.

I warned you they’d lose both games I went to. Good news is I’m not going tomorrow so they might win.

The score was 3-2 Jays in the 7th with 1 out while Ryu was pitching.

The score is now 9-3 Mariners and we've only gotten 2 more outs since we "HAD" to go to the pen.

Doesn’t look too too bad there tbh, shoes make it look worse

On first blush it looks like a broken leg, but there's no way he walks off the field even with a limp, so maybe it isn't as bad as it looks, maybe that's just wishful thinking. I was initially concerned about the achilles, all things considered I would take a break over the achilles.

Don’t think its a break, seems like its definitely a sprain/strain though. Hopefully not too severe. Hoping for a quick 2-3 week DL stint

George Springer has a mild left ankle sprain, per Blue Jays manager Charlie Montoyo. X-rays returned negative. Springer’s considered day-to-day.

"That was a scary moment for the whole team," Montoyo said. "But the good news is that he's going to be all right."

That's a relief at least. At the initial time of injury this looked like something that could have ended Springer's season.

Yeah im still gonna wait until they say what grade sprain it is. At least we have 2 offdays next week so they can wait and monitor the injury before placing him on the DL if needed.

Who gets called up for Springer if he lands on the IL?

Palacios or Biggio if he's ready. That ankle injury really hurts this team, rough timing.

I felt really good about the team after the amazing homestand. That has really reversed after the back to back disaster games in this series. If Springer is out for an extended period I'm having a hard time seeing this team staying in the wildcard race.

Certainly going to be tough. We really need Pearson and Merryweather. *sighs*

At one point Shatkins need to ask, what does he bring to our team.

Who Montoyo, I don't think they'd do it, lol.

Sure would be nice, a Gibby/Montoyo swap would be orgasmic!

Yeah, that's my wet dream. :P

West coast road trips.

Can't figure out if I hate them more than visits to the Trop.

Not always. Went to Anaheim in August 2015 on that trip and we absolutely mashed them for a sweep, carrying on same in Seattle. This swing is a giant enema compared to that.

Nice. That’s actually tops on my list for places I haven’t seen a game

But but but according to Dr. Dogg he has a fractured ankle and will miss the rest of the season.

Jays and Mariners same record. Jays +122 run differential + the Mariners -42 = Montoyo Effect.

Jays players have to overcome their opponent and their own manager's head scratching decisions game after game.
