WTF are you even babbling about? Richards hit his spot, with that high change up?

GTFOH

Maybe you should rewatch it and look at Reese's glove before spewing this bumass reply.

If the Jays had Rivera, Eckersley, Henke and Ward in their primes they would still give up runs late in a close game and f***ing lose.

They bring in their best, they bring in their worst. If the game is close they're f***ed.

Montoya has bad vibes, it'll keep us down until he's gone.

Lol.. That's not where a change up is to be finished. It was on the outer half but is was belt high and straight as an arrow.

Why would I get banned for that? They are arguably the best franchise in baseball along side the Yankees and Dodgers. Who else would be in the picture?

Just yanking your chain. We hate the Bosox around here, mate.

If this team is ready to win starting next year, we need a reliable shut down closer for starters.

They should really trade for Kimbrel $16 million or not. I mean come on right? The guy is lights out.

I sure hope they don't plan on bringing in Yates part deux as plan A and his IL protégé Julian "you can't see me" Merrywether for f*** sakes.

Yup.. Shatkins need to stop trying to be cute and pony up.

Yeah... I noticed. Good thing most of these guys weren't around in 1990.

I don't like the Sox either, but they are the team I am most jealous of. The 2013 team in particular.

I don't know how to process these L's anymore... it's like a barrage of 1-run losses and BP f***ups

That 2013 Redsox team was such a fluke though

Their core was Ellsbury, Ortiz and Pedroia, all of who had good, but not fluky years. Victorina and Drew and Napoli had good years but comparable to what they'd done before. Same with pitching staff Lester and Buckholz good years, maybe Buckholz was fluky but also only pitched 100 innings.

Solid long term core supplemented by a bunch of buy low guys in their early 30s.

Well I mean just look at their record in 2012 and then in 2014.

If you could net a Top 50ish prospect for Ray how do you not do that at this point

They are 4.5 games out...

The only reason you trade Ray and Semien if you are convinced they are f***ed and burnt out, and all these close losses have busted the moral of the clubhouse and they are headed for 75 wins

I wouldn't trade Ray and Semien if I was convinced they are headed for 85 wins. Even if no playoffs I'd rather end on a positive note. Could be helpful to try and resign Ray and Semien, or different players to replace them.

And of course if they aren't mentally f***ed they could get off the mat and still catch the second wild card.. just hard to see it on nights like this.

If we decided to sell we would have one of the top SP and position players to offer. That could net us a decent haul.

Move Biggio to 2nd and give Smith a look at 3rd. We don't have much SP depth but we could put Hatch in Ray's spot and see how he does.

Who knows, maybe the team uses it as fuel and goes on a run but if not we can load up in the off season and will have a stronger farm system. I would prefer this to spending prospects this year with only the 2nd wildcard within reach.

Bad vibes and Verdugo who has a .912 OPS against righties and .488 OPS vs lefties. Maybe Montoyo should have brought in a left hander? It could be bad managing too.

I think Mayza and Borucki had already pitched back-to-back days, and Saucy was already used

I was thinking the same thing with Biggio and Smith. You've got 2 valuable assets in Semien and Ray that should yield a decent haul.

It's a shame this pen is such a disaster. If Semien and/or Ray aren't re-signed, I'm not sure we're going to get equivalent performances with whoever we get to replace them next season. They've both been excellent. Feels like a wasted opportunity.
