wilko Old-Timey Member Posted July 22, 2021 Posted July 22, 2021 Not having to get up twice an inning to let people who are too impatient to wait for the beer guy to come by, or those with small bladders would be a dream come true. Am I the only guy wearing diapers to games? I never leave my seat.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted July 22, 2021 Posted July 22, 2021 Physically distanced seats sound like a dream come true. Not because I'm worried about the virus, but because I'd love to take up 5 seats. One for my body and one for each limb. I hope this virus never ends. Not having to get up twice an inning to let people who are too impatient to wait for the beer guy to come by, or those with small bladders would be a dream come true. Yeah honestly the physically distanced seating sounds great. Im a small guy and I never sit in the 100s anymore because the seats feel so crammed. Can't imagine how uncomfortable it is for people 6ft+. Much rather sit in the 500s and have some empty seats between me and everyone else.

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 22, 2021 Posted July 22, 2021 Nice! I was planning to go on the Saturday August 7th game so I bought tix to that, but now im realizing there's supposed to be a double header which means it will only be a 7-inning game.... although they didn't have game 2 of the DH for sale?? Maybe it will be single admission... They did say SPLIT doubleheader though which usually means separate tickets, so there could be more tickets coming up for sale over the next few days! DH are 7 inning single admission bro, games are 30 minutes apart.

Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted July 22, 2021 Posted July 22, 2021 Am I the only guy wearing diapers to games? I never leave my seat. Do you get diaper rash?
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted July 22, 2021 Posted July 22, 2021 DH are 7 inning single admission bro, games are 30 minutes apart. Not always?
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 22, 2021 Posted July 22, 2021 Not always? They've been doing it all season, no day-night double headers. You're good. That game was rescheduled from the PPD the other night.

wilko Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2021 Posted July 23, 2021 Do you get diaper rash? Mayonnaise seems to work well.

That game was rescheduled from the PPD the other night. Actually, this turned out to be wrong. They are selling tickets for the August 7th 7pm game starting tomorrow now. Seems like a bad idea since they won’t be able to properly clean/sanitize things in between games...

Both times I went to series’ this year, a rainout was a strong possibility. If you have tickets for a game and they make it part of a double header tomorrow, how can there be a single ticket? They’ve been selling the same seats you’re sitting in for the next day Unless there’s a refund but I thought you just get admission to the rescheduled game. I’m glad I didn’t have to find this out
Laika Community Moderator Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 I would be mildly annoyed if I paid full pop for a ticket and only got to see a 7 inning game.

Laika Community Moderator Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 On the plus side, if you’re a BJ fan you’re less likely to watch the BP blow a game Montoyo would probably save Romano for the 9th and let Dolis blow it in the 7th

Yeah im slightly annoyed but I guess its my own fault, im sure it said somewhere in fine print that it was only a 7 inning game. I had already planned to go to the game that day before the doubleheader was scheduled, but I bought the tickets AFTER the doubleheader was scheduled... I forgot about the fact it would be 7 innings because: A - the other game wasn’t showing up in the games list, and B - this has never been a thing before. Ah well, i’ll be back for another game late August anyways

If that's the case you'll be glad you didn't have to sit through two more innings in the sun.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 IMO a 7 inning game is like a 14 hole golf course. In most cases, it's f***ing perfect.
Ehjays Verified Member Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 Not sure if i’ll have any kind of priority yet, doesn’t seem like it. I’ll definitely be waiting on my computer as soon as tickets go live Any person that has a $300 credit on their account since 2020 should be a PRIORITY before the general public. I would call them and TELL them that. Im sure they will work with you

bronson44 Verified Member Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 There should at least discounts for 7 inning games
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 There should at least discounts for 7 inning games I can't believe they decided to sell tickets on the back half of a double dip, I'd be pissed.

A bit upsetting, i’ve always wanted to see a doubleheader but im not gonna pay for a second set of tickets just to see 14 innings of baseball
nfitz Verified Member Posted July 29, 2021 Posted July 29, 2021 When I was browsing yesterday the cheapest were $76What about those of us who were buying in the 500s, for about $25 a seat. There's a big difference to taking the family to a game for $100 versus $300. I assume they can't simply triple the price without options for those that had cheaper tickets already purchased.

If you want at $25 ticket - you'll be waiting until they can increase capacity. That said, they were selling $40 tickets in the outfield.

They could have easily opened up some seats in the 500s and less in the 200s, so that those who had prepurchased tickets could get new tickets. Or sold 200s tickets at the price previously paid. Looking at the games next week, they haven't even sold out! MLSE seems to be handling this much better for TFC, with STH being able to easily buy tickets at the price they previously paid.

Its obvious why they’ve decided to keep the entire 500 level closed... doesn’t makes sense to have extra staff for an entire level when capacity is only 15,000 anyways. As for adjusting the pricing, I suppose they could have done something like that... but why? If they know people are willing to spend 40$ per ticket why reduce the price just because? The reason there are seats available is because they released a bunch of new tickets yesterday and not many are aware of it. They initially sold out within minutes on the day tickets became available to the general public.
