RobinThicc Verified Member Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 Bullpen burying this team. Sad stuff.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 Losing by BB's hurt, way too often, man.
John Balkabella Verified Member Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 Alek deserved to win this game.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 Trash pen, trash coach Why the rookie...like why.
Slyfisher Verified Member Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 I count 8 wins that were lost by the pen.. Pathetic
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 Losing by BB's hurt, way too often, man. Its insane how many of our relievers walk multiple batters each inning
Jaysareus Verified Member Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 I'm okay with letting Baltimore break their 20 game road losing streak
5ToolPhenom Verified Member Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 (edited) f***... Kinda predictable, but man, we had the right guys up. Once Bo walked I was actually thinking about the possibility of having Vladdy bunt. I know it's unorthodox, but the O's had the bottom of their order up in the 11th. May as well play to at least tie. I mean, If I were the manager, I probably wouldn't have bunted him because he's one of the hottest players in the league, but at some point, you gotta just play fundamental baseball. KBO has their best players bunt when the game is on the line and it calls for it and it works 8 times outta 10. Edited June 26, 2021 by 5ToolPhenom
Slyfisher Verified Member Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 We should've been able to get Semien home from 2nd too
EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 Yet another one where they just hand it over to the other team
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 Why the rookie...like why. And then why keep Thornton in after 21 balls 15 feet away from the plate. The lefty vs 3 RHHs was the worse
Scion Verified Member Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 Its not even worth getting upset until the organization makes a trade to improve the pen or multiple injured relievers return. The pen is just f***ing awful and for whatever reason reason Jays blow at scoring in extra innings.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 Thanks Chatwood and Grichuk saucedo? Thornton?
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 Saucedo against 3 righties was such a terrible decision... Charlie thinking with his feet again

JFD Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 He tripled and scored tonight? And he's still on a cold streak and can't catch a baseball?
Cynical Verified Member Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 The expression on the hitter's faces after each of these gut wrenching losses. Eventually it's going to affect the players.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 This post is retarded lol... one would say unorthodox.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 And he's still on a cold streak and can't catch a baseball? Oh, that play was easy?
Anybody but Charlie Verified Member Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 I for sure thought we were going to win this game. Everything was going right. Then Charlie decides to make bad move after bad move. Doesn't pull Chatwood fast enough, then brings in that nobody to face a bunch of right-handed batters, then leaves Thornton to keep pitching despite the guy being completely wild with no command. Only after he walks in a run does he actually decide to get someone warming in the bullpen. What a f***ing joke. Yeah I get it it's early, but if you want any chance of making the playoffs you have to sweep the series. You can't just f***ing give away games.. The Astros were pulverizing this team by 10+ runs.

A won in April means the same as a win in Sept, they all add up, it's not that early anymore.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 He brought Saucedo in for the LHB, catch - 22 Not really. 100% chance they pinch hit like they did

saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 He brought Saucedo in for the LHB, catch - 22 You have to face 3 batters. There was one out. Dumb, dumb dumb dumb dumb. Bring in Romano to put out fires. First Bergen, now Saucedo.

First Bergen, now Saucedo. It was 5-2 with 1 out, lets not get ahead of ourselves. Execution was at fault, not Charlie. Maybe a switch in the 10th but...
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 Everyone knew our pitching was going to be our weak point this season. The fact our management didn't add more to their glaring weakness looks bad on them. Especially when we have plenty of salary room to make it happen. Our management decided to save that salary space for the trade deadline but we might have lost too many games by that point...
Starrynova Verified Member Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 DFA Suckwood Fire Montoyo Honestly put pylons in place of them and they won’t do a worse job. Sick of the pen blowing it. As someone mentioned it’s 8 f***ing games blown now. We could be 46-28 and top of the division. What the f*** is going on??
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
