Those 2 innings pitched in 2 blowouts really gave Montoyo the impression that Saucedo was ready for high leverage work. The pen is dumpster fire, so there was a chance for implosion regardless of who he brought in, but Saucedo is not the guy to bring into the game in that spot.

I know you're joking but most of those early bullpen meltdowns took place after the starters were left in too long and exited the game with multiple baserunners on, making most relief appearances during that stretch high leverage ones.
