Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2021 Posted April 8, 2021 (edited) Springer expected to miss Blue Jays' homestand with quad strain https://www.thescore.com/mlb/news/2150042 Was surprised to hear that while he was taking batting practice during the rehab process, he wasn't fielding or running. Sounds a bit weird, especially now that he hurt his hamstring, but I'm sure they got smart people working there telling him what to do. Was probably miscommunicated. Edited April 9, 2021 by Jays24
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2021 Posted April 8, 2021 He doesn't have a hamstring strain. That is a completely different muscle group.

Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2021 Posted April 9, 2021 Just an FYI to all, Springer has had 2 previous quad injuries in the past (on his other leg). One kept him out for 15 days and the other kept him out for half the season. Lets hope its just a 10-15 day thing.
