Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted August 22, 2020 Posted August 22, 2020 That lineup is ok. Hopefully they can feed off of the weak elements of Tampa's bullpen.

Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 22, 2020 Posted August 22, 2020 All things considered this is probably the best lineup we could roll out right now. Just would prefer an actual SS playing instead of Panik. Espinal made 2 plays last night that I don’t think Panik had a hope and a prayer of making. I don’t see the need of getting Panik’s “bat” in the lineup when he’s arguably a worse hitter than Espinal and weakens the defense. Especially with Ryu pitching.

It's a bit of a toss up between the two, it seems lately Espinal is automatically forced to bunt by Montoyo every time there's a runner on base no matter the situation otherwise. Hard to find out what Espinal can do with the bat if he's made to sacrifice three times a game like he's a pitcher.

Why waste at bats on Panik, let Espinal get as many reps as possible.

Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted August 22, 2020 Posted August 22, 2020 Ryu looks great tonight, good to see.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted August 22, 2020 Posted August 22, 2020 Great command , Ryu is fun to watch.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted August 22, 2020 Posted August 22, 2020 Probably could have gotten a second strikeout there, but ace Ryu has officially arrived it seems.
BlueRocky Old-Timey Member Posted August 22, 2020 Posted August 22, 2020 Lowe had no clue there. Ump bailed him out and he still had no chance. One of the hottest hitters in baseball.
el duque Verified Member Posted August 22, 2020 Posted August 22, 2020 Ryu looks impressive tonight, fast balls close to 90, cutter, curve balls and sinkers, a nightmare for the hitter and the catcher
WILLIEUPSHAW Verified Member Posted August 22, 2020 Posted August 22, 2020 anyone know the Jays' W/L record with the new powder blue jerseys so far ? It seems they are using them a lot lately.........
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted August 22, 2020 Posted August 22, 2020 anyone know the Jays' W/L record with the new powder blue jerseys so far ? It seems they are using them a lot lately......... 6 - 1 in powder blues I believe
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 22, 2020 Posted August 22, 2020 anyone know the Jays' W/L record with the new powder blue jerseys so far ? It seems they are using them a lot lately......... It’s definitely a winning record. They wore the road greys 90% of the time until they got to Buffalo. Now they have only worn the road greys once and the home whites twice. Otherwise its been all new Blue. The navy ones have only been worn once this year as well.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted August 22, 2020 Posted August 22, 2020 Mcquire having a tough time
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 22, 2020 Posted August 22, 2020 Mcquire having a tough time How is possible to butcher his name that badly lol.

If it was up to me, they would wear those ones all the time!
BlueRocky Old-Timey Member Posted August 22, 2020 Posted August 22, 2020 The majestic royal/navy blue is my favourite

I disagree I think they are the worst jerseys out of all of them. But they are fine. Atleast not the Black Jays. The players don’t seem to like them either.
WILLIEUPSHAW Verified Member Posted August 22, 2020 Posted August 22, 2020 Ryu looks terrific. right now, he looks like Shatkins best acquisition (other than maybe Giles) since coming to TO!
