Yup. Danny Jansen realized a few years ago that he needed glasses. It happens from time to time. Inexcusable if it happens after they ditch him though.

He may need to get new glasses again.

So why does Danny Jansen still suck at hitting.

.317 OBP is far from the worst for a catcher, the sample is still too small.

Hitting comes in streaks, Grichuk looked like poop 10 days ago.

His glasses must have been Minor League grade. Only helped him see Minor League pitching.

BBBB had Vlad 7th, smart guy

Shall we talk about your list. Does this sound familiar

1. SRF Clicks on all parameters, K rate, age/level, control, size, demeanor

2. Alford 5 tools, high floor, power increased in 2016 but needs to get K rate down

3. Tellez K rate declining as he elevates through the system, huge power, would be #1 prospect if played any other position but 1B/DH

4. Vlad superstar potential

5. Greene: step back in 2016, needs to rebound in 2017 or bullpen is his future

6. Gurriel

7. Zeuch

8. Maese

9. McGuire

10. Bichette

11. Pentecost unlikely to be a catcher, athleticism and bat could allow switch to corner OF

12. Ramirez

13. Urena numbers do not support high ranking by others and defense is reportedly average at best, overrated despite young age

14. Woodman

15. Palacios

Pretty spot on.

If the Jays would have moved Alford to the Taxi Squad would they have had to DFA him?

Is todd dead? I thought for sure he would've chimed in already.

Speaking of which, I owe Todd a formal apology.

Lasted a long time on the 40 for a guy Todd had outside his top 100 Blue Jays prospects

Todd was right all along.

104 if I recall correctly. That was a ballsy, unpopular, but CORRECT assertion on his part.

Good morning everybody. Just for the record this is Todd. Had to change my profile because the old one did not work.

And for the no bragging about alford but i was right.

I'd make fun of everyone but I said that if they rushed SRF to the pen he'd outpitch Osuna.

Todd had Alford ranked 11th on that google doc above, everyone seen the slide because of injuries, Todd doesn't deserve s***, prospects fail all the time for one reason or another, he couldn't stay healthy, period.

Identifying oft injured spects is suddenly not part of prospect ranking

He buckled under the pressure of the board. His first ranking was 104. That's what gave him his quick rise to fame initially.

In J4L's defense he can't remember his name some days much less what he writes while under the Todd account

It is me because alot of people were saying alford was sleeping with my wife.

And he just picked the wrong sport to play.

He should have stayed in football.

Right. Of course the guy who couldn't stay healthy in a non-contact sport should have chosen one where he gets blasted several times a day.

Did Alford clear waivers? I thought we were supposed to have heard something by now

72 Hrs... so yeah, should've heard something by now, that was 5 days ago?

Probably working out a trade.
