Good stuff from Vladdy there. Went down, battled a bit and ended up with a good hack sending it about 350 feet in the air. Promising.

All 3 had pretty good plate appearances.

Fenway was weird but so far the feeling at the Rays game is the same. I weirdly take some comfort in that.

Glad to see ball again but can Sportsnet stop with the ridiculous fake crowd noise? Would be so much better without it.

That's the sound operator at Tropicana Field who is doing that, not SN.

Menu... lol

Lowenbrau bruh, good s***.

Lowenbrau is pretty good stuff... I'm not allowed to drink anymore, so I'll just live vicariously through you.

You know that has nothing to do with Sportsnet right?

We’re going to really enjoy watching Ryu pitch. What an upgrade over what we had. Best pitcher we probably had since David Price.

Rays putting in crowd noise is the greatest troll job of all time.

Rays: “So this year, we have to pump crowd noise during the game.”

Sound guy: “so.. same as usual?”

I didn't know that actually. Are you sure? I like the little elements like the organ music and the "fan interaction" stuff. I do recall an interview on the FAN a month or so ago with an audio engineer who basically said he was working on getting fan noise right in order to make the games with no fans feel more "normal". I figured Sportsnet was overlaying their own noise over the PA stuff from the stadium.

It was dead quiet at Fenway so this is 100% on the Trop's sound guy.
