Basketball player does a big fist pump in front of his defender - no excessive

Hockey player turns defender inside out and pops one top corner on the goalie...circles around with his stick over his head cheering - no excessive

Pitcher fist pumps in front of the batter after a big strikeout - excessive

Hitter raises his bat above his head, cheers and throws it after a home run - excessive

Do I have that right?

Seems like reading comprehension on this forum is at an alltime low.......emotion, celebration is perfectly fine....teams like the stros who do it all time time , every good play at times it gets tiring and looks ridiculous....last thing we need is guys flipping bats and celebrating every AB or when they draw a walk.

Like anything in life there is a middle ground.

Maybe, but neither has pitched much. I could see them getting a very quick hook.

Both teams may be looking to get through 5, then go to their big guns for 6 outs each.

Quick hooks for the team that must win, sure.

Total nonsense....baseball is great no one watches because guys throw bats and celebrate after a walk......no sport needs more of that. Again talking the excessive celebrations, there is nothing wrong with it in big moments. Baseball will not get more popular because the Astros celebrate like children every play.

All you do is call people names when you disagree, says it all about your maturity and intelligence . Grow up clown

lol... explain your 50 accounts, meat. I call you names, sure. Not to mention nobody pimps walks, pumping up your bench is one thing, but there's been no bat flips, f***, show us one, aside from a game winning hit?

Didn't hear you complain about Hicks 1st inning 3 run dinger last game?

Look at all that pimping, lol. STOOOOP!!!

The narrative is BS.

to the Astros credit they toned it waaay down. I'm wondering if MLB told them it was a bad look.

what a play by Brantley. celebration appropriate!

No way - keep you head down and act like you've done it before and will do it again. Don't show up your opponent.

It's like he freezes as soon as the ball approaches the dirt. I really can't recall seeing a catcher repeatedly do that before.

He'll be moved off the position when they find a replacement, he's terrible.
