Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2019 Posted October 12, 2019 Anibal Sanchez is no-hitting the Cards lol. Also the Howie Kendrick redemption arc is in full force. Discuss.

Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2019 Posted October 12, 2019 Lol, that pitch was so slow Molina couldn't stop watching it hit him.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2019 Posted October 12, 2019 Sanchez is blowing me away... Crazy
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2019 Author Posted October 12, 2019 What an insane catch from Zimmermann.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2019 Posted October 12, 2019 Zimmermann shut that s*** down.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2019 Posted October 12, 2019 Holy f*** boys....incredible. Baseball is the best.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2019 Posted October 12, 2019 faaack. now we have a ball game.
GoJays1562 Verified Member Posted October 12, 2019 Posted October 12, 2019 Damn would have been nice to see history. Sick performance by Sanchez though.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2019 Author Posted October 12, 2019 That was fun, good for Anibal Sanchez. Now this is where s*** gets real for Nats fans, their bullpen has been atrocious and they can't just bring in a legitimate starter out of the 'pen every game.

Yeah, but I think they got deep enough in the game that it isn't as much as an issue in this game.

Yeah, but it's where it gets real fun for everyone else. There's something about watching Rodney walk the park and wiggle out of innings that adds that extra little spice to the postseason.

HealthDream007 Verified Member Posted October 12, 2019 Posted October 12, 2019 It will be diffcult for the Cardinals to win. They're already down 1 game and have yet to even face the Big 3.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2019 Posted October 12, 2019 It will be diffcult for the Cardinals to win. They're already down 1 game and have yet to even face the Big 3. Yup, done.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2019 Posted October 12, 2019 I love Anibal Sanchez. Up to 93 in the postseason! And he keeps the butterfly in his back pocket! Anibal Sanchez's 6th best pitch > Openers. Yup I'm rooting for the Nats now because they actually have four starters who they will use to actually start games in the playoffs. Even the Stros and Yankees are having a bullpen game in game 4 apparently. The Nats just throw out 4 SPs and are winning. No openers. The way it should be.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted October 12, 2019 Posted October 12, 2019 when did Glory become an old man
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2019 Posted October 12, 2019 when did Glory become an old man It's more efficient to have one guy going what it takes another team 3 or 4 guys to do. That's just common sense. Whether you have the personnel for that is a different conversation.

Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2019 Posted October 12, 2019 If he said "the way it should be....ideally", would that be better? What's wrong with sounding like me anyway

Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2019 Posted October 12, 2019 Man, the batters aren't picking anything up at all right now with the shadows. Those are some really ugly swings.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2019 Posted October 12, 2019 Terrible read there by Soto. He should have easily caught that.
Dick_Pole Old-Timey Member Posted October 13, 2019 Posted October 13, 2019 (edited) Cardinals and Nationals NLCS. But, you know, haha NHL playoffs! Edited October 13, 2019 by Dick_Pole
