Despite being a f***ing dumpster fire. I kind of like Carlos Martinez throwing at Acuna there. you've already f***ed up, may as well try and fire up your team for the bottom of the ninth. Or of course they are saying you f***ed up sit your ass down.

Tyler Flowers is putting on a clinic behind the plate. A defensive sub at catcher and it's almost as valuable as anyone else they could have brought in.

Let me get this straight. Martinez has throated an entire bag of dicks this series. He gets mad because Acuna crushed one off him, but you like how he can aim a 99 MPH baseball at Acuna's head?

 

I would probably have fired up his team more if he just didn't suck on all those penises.

 

Isn't Martinez a flamboyant Dominican himself and thus a massive hypocrite? Or am I just stereotyping? Either way - pinch better and don't throw at people because you're s***.

Acuna is Venezuelan. They don't like each other. This doesn't seem like it's a Cards vs. Acuna...more personal Martinez vs. Acuna Jr.

 

Not sure about CM's on field antics. I know he had some porn problems and a couple off field fights.

I thought it was screenshots and all his favourites were porn sites. He was really young back then, and I remember thinking it was hilarious

I think there is a lot more scoring still going to happen in this one. Just doesn't feel like it will be by the Cards though.

Probably because the score keeper is a former Gold Glover.

It was a horrendous joke and I immediately regretted it.

 

Basically, because some Gold Glover winners in the past should not have been awarded by the backward media (now it's voted by managers/coaches). You know the old joke about a Gold Glove winner being awarded by offense rather than defense (In fact one pitcher whose name escapes me, reacted to getting the GG by saying, Really, I'm not even a good fielder). In any case, the joke was because Gold Glovers were sometimes bad defensive players, that they as scorekeepers would be more prone to award that a hit rather than an error.

 

Yeah.... so a really bad joke.
