Love the false sense of predictive power that some people get just because they own some stocks or have ~20 years experience betting on sports and probably not winning big in the aggregate.

 

Ouch dude. You do realize that someone can have, say, a $100,000 bankroll and be VERY good at what they do making $50,000 a year (whether that's sports betting or stock trading) and still apparently be spinning their wheels for 20 years because that $50,000 goes to funding living expenses. Not everybody has to be like tercet laying down $14,000 challenges on some obscure player's wRC+ at the first sign of a disagreement to make a comfortable living being a bum.

You'd think that someone with a horseshoe shoved so far up his ass that it's a septum piercing would accept it with more grace and humility but we all know that's not the way Boxcar rolls.

 

My Buck Martinez logic was right. Wainwright was excellent and that game was a total toss up. Braves bettors were soiling themselves for 8 innings and Cardinals bettors are raging now.

Understandable logic. The other argument is you, me, and a bunch of friends can try super hard and do whatever it takes to beat the Yankees in an elimination game. Doesn't mean we are good enough.
