wk680 Verified Member Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 Man, Meadows/Glasnow and Baz for Archer... what a steal. Well you know the old rationale was that the team which acquired the best player won the trade. At the time, everyone thought Archer was the best player, but it just has not panned out. The guy's stuff is (or at least was) filth, but the results have just not been there......

Selling prospects for pitching rarely works out for the seller.

JFD Old-Timey Member Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 Thornton already at 30 pitches in the 1st per usual.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 Maybe we should leave the roof open and let it rain in the Skydome more often.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 Walked the pups... missed the first... Teo Bomb!!! Biggio and Grich!
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 Rowdy's been pretty hot, lol... too bad the season's over tomorrow. Thornton's been good, save for the waks, his pitch count suggests he's done after 5.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 Ouch, that's a blow to the Twins.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 (edited) The Jays have a 1 hit SO going through 6 folks. Against the Rays, lol. Welp... make that 2 hits and 1 run, lol. Edited September 28, 2019 by Spanky99
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 I was just going to say, Tabby's a meathead, lol.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 Potentially risking the 5th overall pick to win this game. Tomorrow has to be loss unless Seattle wins tonight. Blue Jays fans should be Mariners fans this weekend. Lets hope they can take one more from Oakland.

bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 Thornton had a pretty good month of September, hopefully he can build on it next year
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 Nice job by Trent in September, same goes for Waguespack, Kay, etc...
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 Thornton had a pretty good month of September, hopefully he can build on it next year 2nd half has been good. For the entire team against great clubs.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 Thornton had a pretty good month of September, hopefully he can build on it next year Buchholz taught him a new curveball grip and he’s been using it in September apparently. Small sample size but hopefully it leads to better performance in 2020. As is a 2 war in 150 innings is a pretty decent outcome for him.

Ehjays Verified Member Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 Heres hoping Smoak gets a good send off today. I know he hasn't had his best year but overall he was a pretty good waiver claim from 5 years ago
goldbug103 Verified Member Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 Fatty is sitting out again which means Jays have a better chance of winning. Yay.
Plat Verified Member Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 Why is Vlad Jr. sitting out the last game of the season
