Because if you think McGuire is clearly better than Jansen, you must think he's in the Austin Hedges tier. Based on what? The 2 games you've watched him play, using those same old eyes that deemed that Kevin Pillar would be a star based on a few ST at bats?

 

Yeah, I don't know why you think you deserve an explanation every time some turd of an opinion drops from your mouth.

Guys, the way to get good hitters out is to throw good pitches. Bad pitches are less likely to get the job done. You'll also want to get him out. I know I already said that but it's another step. How to be good at pitching, by Pat Tabler:

 

- Throw good pitches instead of bad pitches

- Get guys out. Right? Hyukhyuk

- Throw pitches away. Even if the batter is good at hitting pitches away. That's the magic spot.

Oh I thought those noises were because of the thunderstorm.

The more I see the kids and John Schneider the less likely I think it will be that Montoyo gets to the end of his contract.

 

I think that was always the plan, especially when Schneider came up to be a bench coach. Montoyo is here because no one half way decent wants to manage a 100 loss team. If/when the Jays start off poorly next season, I would expect to see Bunty fired and replaced by Schneider, and then the team will try to win in 2021.

 

And man this team needs to add like 4 pitchers in the off season.

We have like 26 starting pitchers. They just aren't very good

Tellez with the same type of crap K he was prone to before being demoted.

 

That was his 14 AB since being back in the MLB. That was his first K and it was against one of the best pitchers in baseball. I'm not 100% sure, but I'm pretty sure hitting is a bit harder standing at the plate than it appears sitting your ass on your couch at home. Cut the kid some slack.
