Cody Bellinger eyes are going to light up when he gets to face this pitching. Honestly wouldn’tt be surprised if hit 4 or 5 homeruns in the 3 game series. God hes fun to watch.

Jays are actually 16th out of 30 in the league for home runs allowed per 9, and 7th over the last 30 days.

You can’t really call a trade for a middle reliever a failure lol. Getting anything that could reach the big leagues for him should be considered a success.

That's like saying take whatever you can get. We arent suppose to evaluate the gm on the prospects acquired and how they perform

 

I guess a few years from now if Kay and SWR fail to turn into anything is it going to be the same thing

I think the point was that Smith was just a supposedly easily replaceable relief pitcher and about to be a free agent again. Stroman was a whole different situation, so those players obtained better pan out for Atkins sake.
