Infielder Eric Sogard has been traded to the Tampa Bay Rays, league sources tell ESPN. Multiple teams were on him but Toronto ultimately settled on a deal with Tampa Bay.

The Rays usually buy low. They are buying high here, unless they can turn Sogard into something even better than this (wouldn't surprise me).

 

I'm not expecting much of anything, but a minor league signing, 2+ WAR, and a prospect is a decent string of events.
