Yeah, two bases from when he touched it would make sense. Exploit it heavily until MLB fixes the rule. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if TB may have done that intentionally. They're always looking for ways to get an edge, and they're desperate for the wins right now.

While the throw to second was perfect and stopped the damage from going any further, I feel like Jansen could have waited back on the ball and potentially have gotten the tag down for an out. That was an excellent throw from LF by Gurriel.

That's the problem with these tank seasons, they can be awfully demoralizing and it can affect the performance of the young players. Young players coming up in an atmosphere of success can be invaluable.
