Drury is just depressing. I remember he was terrible with the Yankees when they acquired him, and they used some sort of eye injury as the reason.

 

I think it's the opposite. They both suck, but of the two, Drury is the one that wouldn't surprise me if he turned into something. McKinney does nothing well. He literally has no average or better tool. He's bad at everything.

As awful as Drury is, he still has an option left. With trades expected to open up space on the 40 man doubt we see him dfa this season when we can just send him to AAA.

Yeah for whatever reason the Jays like Drury. He has 3 years of control left and an option remaining. I think he'll be here next year as a utility player.

 

McKinney on the other hand is hanging on by a damn thread. No reason he should be on the 40 man for much longer.
