Sean Reid Foley has looked fantastic so far tonight. Might actually be a very useful bullpen guy if he can't make it as a starter.

He was consistently 94-95 in this one lol. I think his stuff just plays up out of the bullpen whereas as a starter he's more conservative with velocity in order to last longer.

They probably limited his pitch count so he can start in 3-4 days.

He sat 92-95, but his stuff is about the same 94-96 as a starter. I wouldn’t exactly say that’s playing up. His command gets too wild if tries to pitch any harder.

 

Romano was hitting 93-95 as a starter and went 95-97 T99 in the pen for comparison.

Drury is just depressing. I remember he was terrible with the Yankees when they acquired him, and they used some sort of eye injury as the reason.
