Ex Player Verified Member Posted June 30, 2019 Posted June 30, 2019 Why, just put him in the pen and let him let loose? Loose??? You mean like get his arm loose??
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2019 Posted June 30, 2019 Loose??? You mean like get his arm loose?? Like throw max velocity, ex-player.
Ex Player Verified Member Posted June 30, 2019 Posted June 30, 2019 Like throw max velocity, ex-player You made a great point Spanky, he's not pitching well because his arm is not loose
Ex Player Verified Member Posted June 30, 2019 Posted June 30, 2019 Biagini to the rescue. Now lets comeback and kick their asses
wk680 Verified Member Posted June 30, 2019 Posted June 30, 2019 Like throw max velocity, ex-player. I wonder if he has been trying to back it off a bit to keep from messing up his finger and that has been contributing to the steady decline in effectiveness.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2019 Posted June 30, 2019 I wonder if he has been trying to back it off a bit to keep from messing up his finger and that has been contributing to the steady decline in effectiveness. His velocity really hasn't changed. He might be using a different grip though.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2019 Posted June 30, 2019 Derp derp Can you imagine if there were more runners on base with his 2 HR's? Regardless, Smoak's base running skills were not on display unfortunately for LGJ and Biggio.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2019 Posted June 30, 2019 You made a great point Spanky, he's not pitching well because his arm is not loose WTF??? lol
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2019 Posted June 30, 2019 Sanchez was at his best with his turbo sinker at 95-98. I haven’t seen that in 3 years. If the bullpen can recapture some of that he would be a fun reliever. Hes been very bad as a starter for years now.
Ex Player Verified Member Posted June 30, 2019 Posted June 30, 2019 If they do send Aaron down to the pen, which SP would take his spot?? Cause last time I checked we dont have anybody (worthy)

Well most SP aren't throwing max effort, as Abom said his velo's the same, he's just a failed starter, best to see what he has in the pen when he dials it up.
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2019 Posted June 30, 2019 Sanchez is useless if he can't throw 98. Not sure he can even do that from the BP anymore with his busted up finger.
Ex Player Verified Member Posted June 30, 2019 Posted June 30, 2019 WTF??? lol https://www.bluejaysmessageboard.com/threads/9119-GDT-Royals-Blue-Jays-(Game-3-of-4)-June-30th-13-07-EST?p=1375089&viewfull=1#post1375089 http://www.debatepolitics.com/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif

Ex Player Verified Member Posted June 30, 2019 Posted June 30, 2019 I take it you don't know what that means, good talk No, you're really on to something. Sanchez just cant get his arm loose
Barkerfan23 Verified Member Posted June 30, 2019 Posted June 30, 2019 Really weak at bat from Teoscar
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2019 Posted June 30, 2019 No, you're really on to something. Sanchez just cant get his arm loose f*** off, moron.

Yeah even in 2016 as a starter, I think he would regularly hit 95-96 with the 2-seamer and it had lots of movement. Now he is more like 93-94, but it is just the movement is not there like it was so he can't get away with a lack of command like he used to.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2019 Posted June 30, 2019 Stop whining Rowdy that's a strike.
wk680 Verified Member Posted June 30, 2019 Posted June 30, 2019 His velocity really hasn't changed. He might be using a different grip though. Yeah I think so and that is affecting the movement on the 2-seamer - no longer the dynamic pitch it once was.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2019 Posted June 30, 2019 Yup that's a good call, Sogard missed the tag.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2019 Posted June 30, 2019 Sogards positioning was awful on that tgag.
Ex Player Verified Member Posted June 30, 2019 Posted June 30, 2019 Derek Law to bust the game wide open for the Royals
Barkerfan23 Verified Member Posted June 30, 2019 Posted June 30, 2019 Derek Law isnt good And pretending he is to justify pillar trade is stupid
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2019 Posted June 30, 2019 I don’t know if we should have expected a better return for Pillar. But so far that trade has really f***ing sucked
