Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2019 Posted June 30, 2019 His problem isn't the movement, if he doesn't know where the ball is going then it's not going to make a difference by focusing on a 4-seam heavy approach. He's just not a good pitcher. He needs to be moved out of the rotation, regardless. His SP/RP splits are much better, in albeit a SS.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2019 Posted June 30, 2019 I want to go to the game tomorrow but I also scared with Clayton Richard on the mound that we could be down 5 or 6-0 after a half inning.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2019 Posted June 30, 2019 Shedding Pillar’s salary was the least of anyone’s problem Spanks. Not really concerned with Rogers saving money lol. Okay, die on that hill... it wasn't a bad trade.

He's just not a good pitcher. Pitches with a lot of movement always seem to have more trouble throwing strikes (which makes sense). It's definitely at least part of his problem imo.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2019 Posted June 30, 2019 Okay, die on that hill... it wasn't a bad trade. Its nitpicking at best. But its to bad they didn’t move him when he had some value. Jays wait way to long to deal guys. Always seem to hold onto guys a year to long. And this started with bringing back Bautista for one more year instead of taking compensation. I am trying not to vomit in my mouth every time I think of the Donaldson situation.
