Over the last few games, I noticed that even Buck and Tab, not to mention the Sportcentre folks, are starting to have some questions/low level ridicule of the Jay's. Soft tissue contusions can take anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks to heal. Bone contusions take a bit longer — usually one to two months — depending on how severe the injury is

Sanchez hasn’t ever induced weak contact. We were all fooled by a small sample into thinking he was a FIP beater. He’s just a gas can who has no business starting MLB games.

I thought a contusion = bruise (well I just read that in his link). I'm no x-player but as far as I know players don't usually miss much time with contusions, maybe 2-5 days, if any time. Bones I usually 3-6 weeks.

I think they discovered why that play wasn't challenged. It sounds like the dugout wanted interference called against the batter. It's likely the video guy was looking at that initially rather than second base, then the time to challenge ran out.
