gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 I know the lights there are notorious for being problematic, but it's not like the Jays don't player there regularly. Isn't that also partly on him for losing it in the lights? Nevermind the lights or the roof, s*** like that happens. There is no reason for Grichuk to be jogging after the ball after her located it. This organization is rotting from the top down.

Barkerfan23 Verified Member Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 Literally all three of them got a meatball first pitch they stared for a strike Does this team have a hitting coach
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 Grichuk makes me sad. But, but it was a valued extension.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 Having “Anemic Offence” flashbacks.

So you think the tone set by Shatkins is leading to the country club atmosphere?
wk680 Verified Member Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 Damn, we stink. No offense, crap defense, what's not to like
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 Grichuk makes me sad. Grichuk will be lucky to be a one win player this year.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 So you think the tone set by Shatkins is leading to the country club atmosphere? he's the king of the mountain...he's responsible for everything.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 So you think the tone set by Shatkins is leading to the country club atmosphere? s*** like that breeds from somewhere and it's up to management to set the tone, this is the major leagues ffs. Atkins has no clue on how to evaluate talent.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 I would say it's on Atkins but mostly because management has made it clear that we're throwing this year away. That's why some people will view Stroman's attitude as a positive, for example. Because he will still give everything he's got and in this clubhouse, that might actually be important vetrin presentz. if we don't sign stroman I'm going to be pissed.
Ex Player Verified Member Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 Good outing for Richard if you take out the IPHR

IMO, evaluating talent goes farther than the math. You have to try and sign players that are highly competitive and play with an edge, they want to win no matter what the circumstances.

Yeah you ought to play for pride regardless of the score, but that seems to be a lost thing nowadays with the younger generation.
Ex Player Verified Member Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 I really hate that shift. Didnt the league at one point think of banning it??

tbad Verified Member Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 Team not very watchable even with all the "top prospects"
glory Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 Grichuk will go on his usual hot streak in the summer when the Jays are like 20 games under .500, so at least there's that.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 This is one of the worst Jay's teams I've seen.
5ToolPhenom Verified Member Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 The Rays might as well play games at a local little league stadium when the weather is nice. Then we wouldn't have to deal with this POS park and the stands might look a bit more full. I kinda like the park. Brings back nostalgia of all those parks that I grew up watching in the 80's/90's haha
