Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2019 Posted May 25, 2019 This must be what it feels like for O's fans. At least we get to see something worth watching in 2.5 hours.
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2019 Posted May 25, 2019 This looks like the score after the first few minutes of game 5 of Raptors vs. Bucks. Don't think we will be making a comeback and end up winning the game though.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2019 Posted May 25, 2019 Score is 15-3 and Padres are still swinging for the fences. Time for some chin music So what are they supposed to do, just give away outs? They're just doing what they are getting paid to do.
5ToolPhenom Verified Member Posted May 25, 2019 Posted May 25, 2019 So you hate the Kevin Kiermaier contract? You're seriously comparing Keirmaier to Randal Grichuck? I know you've said that you don't watch any Blue Jays games, but come on man:rolleyes:
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2019 Posted May 25, 2019 Mother told me there would be days like this.
Superdood Verified Member Posted May 25, 2019 Posted May 25, 2019 I wish Rogers would start airing Bisons or Fisher Cats games instead, this s*** is just embarrassing to watch lol
Ex Player Verified Member Posted May 25, 2019 Posted May 25, 2019 Another stupid mistake by Montoya. At this score you might as well have Gurriel pitch the 8th and 9th. Why bring on Dumbo Ears??

gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2019 Posted May 25, 2019 Kiermaier is on track for like 4.5war this year. They didn't lock him up for that long into his 30s. They won't need to eat half lol. So based on his WAR projection this year, that will provide ground to what he'll be worth in 2-3 years, ages 31 and 32? Ok bud..
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2019 Posted May 25, 2019 Oh man. That hit was a sight for sore eyes. Felt hopeless for a while there.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2019 Posted May 25, 2019 Naylor better hope his bat provides enough value where he can be a DH. The NL is no place for him.
Ex Player Verified Member Posted May 25, 2019 Posted May 25, 2019 Naylor better hope his bat provides enough value where he can be a DH. The NL is no place for him You can tell this after just 2 MLB games??
King Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2019 Posted May 25, 2019 You can tell this after just 2 MLB games?? The same guy who said Josh Almonte would be a future MLB player after one February groundball single up the middle.
Bobthe4th Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2019 Author Posted May 25, 2019 That play is more like what we were all worried about - Vlad looked that a fat mess trying to field that. Give him the benefit of the doubt though, he’s still learning.
wk680 Verified Member Posted May 25, 2019 Posted May 25, 2019 Maile showing off his heater that called 3rd strike made me laugh - one of the few things to be happy about today
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2019 Posted May 25, 2019 You can tell this after just 2 MLB games?? So you can't judge a player's defensive abilities outside the MLB? I've watched this kid play since he was 14.
Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2019 Posted May 25, 2019 So you can't judge a player's defensive abilities outside the MLB? I've watched this kid play since he was 14. Can you beat him in a footrace?
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2019 Posted May 25, 2019 The same guy who said Josh Almonte would be a future MLB player after one February groundball single up the middle. Show me where i said that. All i said was that he was a cold weather player and may take longer to develop.
Ex Player Verified Member Posted May 25, 2019 Posted May 25, 2019 So you can't judge a player's defensive abilities outside the MLB? No, you cant. Big leagues is a whole other kettle of fish
wk680 Verified Member Posted May 25, 2019 Posted May 25, 2019 Maile, the only pitcher today to not give up a run. that 61 mph called 3rd strike to end the inning is the most interesting yet saddest highlight of the game you could imagine
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2019 Posted May 25, 2019 Can you beat him in a footrace? Running backwards on one leg.
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2019 Posted May 25, 2019 that 61 mph called 3rd strike to end the inning is the most interesting yet saddest highlight of the game you could imagine Hehe I deleted that cause I realized Biagini struck out a batter there; should rephrase it to only pitcher to pitch an inning and not give up a run.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2019 Posted May 25, 2019 With the rule changes coming next year, having Maile be able to come in and throw 20 innings a year in mop up duty could actually be really valuable for the team. It's something that might be worth exploring as this season progresses.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2019 Posted May 25, 2019 No, you cant. Big leagues is a whole other kettle of fish Are you being serious right now? Please tell me you're trolling.
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
