bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2019 Posted May 11, 2019 Was he supposed to be happy down 4-0? The guy's a gamer, man. nah thats fine but just seemed childish with stroman. I dont know how I feel yet.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2019 Posted May 11, 2019 You agree with that abomination of a post? He didn't say any of what you just posted by the way? WTF are you talking about now? What the hell do you contribute to the board by the way?
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2019 Posted May 11, 2019 I agree. Although i'm not crazy about his antics, the Jays don't have anybody outside of Nate Pearson knocking down the door in the minors. We're going to have to roster a starting pitching staff and Stroman will not be a bad part of it, if the price is right. That's the thing, no-one knows what that price is but Stroman and Ross.
5ToolPhenom Verified Member Posted May 11, 2019 Posted May 11, 2019 You agree with that abomination of a post? He didn't say any of what you just posted by the way? Well, the word is that they'll move Stroman if the price is right while Stro's made it abundantly clear that he'd like to stay. They're gonna need some proven veteran talent while the young kids make the transition to the team, what better signing than a homegrown player who feels a strong tie to the team? Especially considering that there isn't many obvious starting pitching solutions in the pipeline.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2019 Posted May 11, 2019 WTF are you talking about now? What the hell do you contribute to the board by the way? lol... coming from you, really?

The word is Kenny Ken Bowtie speculated on MLB Network they were available, and back-tracked on PTS the other day talking to Bobcat, no-one knows.
5ToolPhenom Verified Member Posted May 11, 2019 Posted May 11, 2019 I mostly agree, but sitting slouched on the bench staring at his shoes was a bad look. Ehh, he was pissed and he was showing it. Despite the outcome, to think that Derek Law would be the better option as opposed to letting Marcus try and retire the next 2 batters is pretty clueless. You gotta give your ace the benefit of the doubt and he was at 97 f***ing pitches for crying out loud. It's not like he was sitting at 115 pitches or something.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2019 Posted May 11, 2019 McKinney is a f***ing tire fire in the outfield. I swear he didn't look nearly this poor last year.
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2019 Posted May 11, 2019 Yessssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss -Tabby
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2019 Posted May 11, 2019 Turrible route... tough play, but...
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2019 Posted May 11, 2019 Lets hope Jim requests a one month ban on Boxy after this loss.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 11, 2019 Posted May 11, 2019 McKinney closed the glove too soon lmao. You can't make this circus stuff up
5ToolPhenom Verified Member Posted May 11, 2019 Posted May 11, 2019 And now Low is getting predictably hammered. There's gotta be a better option than him in a close game in the 8th inning. I guess Montoyo doesn't have much to work with, but still.

I think Teosacar and McKinney cant play RF well...but 1 of them has to and Teoscar should never be the one to do it so its put on McKinney
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2019 Posted May 11, 2019 Smoak you have to dive for that ball man.
sdyment Verified Member Posted May 11, 2019 Posted May 11, 2019 Oh, give me a break. You think if that was Scherzer out there with 95 pitches in the 7th and wanting to finish the inning that some first time, new manager would give him the hook? And it's not like the Jays have some lights out option in the pen to put in. Stroman had every right to be pissed. I don't know what it is with this forum, but there's a lot of people who are weird about Stro. The guy's the best player on the team but so many people seem kinda down on him... I don't get it. Stroman is entitled to be as angry as he wants. No question. Dressing down your manager and pitching coach in the dugout and cameras is in no way acceptable. Stroman always puts Stroman first.
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2019 Posted May 11, 2019 When I see Jave Guerra on the mound I realize my time could be better spent elsewhere.

Atkins needs to find someone who can play a respectful CF who isn't a complete wreck at the plate. Maybe Jonathan Davis could be that player, for a while anyways.

Davis, Alford, and Pompey all should be given a chance this year when wins don’t really matter.

Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 11, 2019 Posted May 11, 2019 At this moment...we have 6 official errors on the week and 6 runs...smh
