Yeah, that seemed like a lateral move at best. Grichuk has 1 more hit that Alford this year, and Alford has only had 3(?) ABs.

100% luck. It's been 21 PA, literally any random minor leaguer can run out a .390 BABIP for a week and look like he belongs. He hasn't even hit for power, the one thing he has going for him right now is that he barely strikes out.

Mostly meh? I bet his end of season numbers are lower than any of the guys we kept over him. And his fielding still sucks.
