Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2019 Posted March 31, 2019 It's the 9th at home, bro? Yeah I know, but this is his third appearance in four days and we have a lot of games in a row. Other managers might have been more conservative, but it's pretty clear Charlie Montoyo gives no f***s.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2019 Posted March 31, 2019 Josh James got 9 whiffs on 23 pitches in 2 IP of relief today. Struck out 4. Ho. Lee. Phuq. Josh James, bros'
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2019 Posted March 31, 2019 Candelario again, he can f*** off!
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2019 Posted March 31, 2019 Candelario continues to f*** us, what a game he's had.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2019 Posted March 31, 2019 It's the 9th at home, bro? 3 appearances in 4 games to start the year is actually a little surprising. As our top trade asset. Little surprised they aren’t being more cautious with him.
BTS Community Moderator Posted March 31, 2019 Posted March 31, 2019 What a great series for Giles. Let's get the W here.

Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2019 Posted March 31, 2019 I don’t know why Buck thought Rowdy was going in to play defense lol I pointed this out yesterday. Buck and Tabby don't follow baseball. They show up, talk about what they see, repeat old school adages, confuse casual fans and go home (and probably drink).
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2019 Posted March 31, 2019 Glad he only had to throw 9 pitches.

sdyment Verified Member Posted March 31, 2019 Posted March 31, 2019 So unfortunately, I missed most of the game and was looking forward to seeing Thornton pitch. The line is filthy, what did he look like. Anyone care to summarize?
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2019 Posted March 31, 2019 Where does Buck Farmer hail from?

The CB was a hammer curve which he threw for strikes and mesmerized the Tigers with. Induced a lot of whiffs on his CH as well. Honestly, he was stellar.

The line is filthy, what did he look like. Anyone care to summarize? Four pitches: a fastball at 93-94 which he had excellent command of, a slider which he didn't feature much and was around 88, a changeup which he used more prominently the second time around and showed very good movement around 84-86, and the curve which was his bread and butter, super high spin and got a number of foolish looking swings.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2019 Posted March 31, 2019 Where does Buck Farmer hail from? Good Ol Georgia boy!

And yet they still manage to be obnoxiously smug and condescending toward any sort of advanced statistics.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2019 Posted March 31, 2019 maybe grichuk is just a slow starter..lol
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2019 Posted March 31, 2019 Good Ol Georgia boy! Was thinking Tennessee, close enough
glory Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2019 Posted March 31, 2019 Why was Gaviglio taken out after 8 pitches? Not very Rays like, Charlie.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2019 Posted March 31, 2019 It still makes me laugh everytime Tabler just randomly goes mmmmmmmm during a broadcast. And the way he describes males bodies is second to none. The attention to detail is impressive.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2019 Posted March 31, 2019 Joe's showing some filthy stuff in his early outings this season. That changeup is a joke.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2019 Posted March 31, 2019 The Beeg looks like a different pitcher, man. lol.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2019 Posted March 31, 2019 dumb question time - the 3 batter minimum is next year right?
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2019 Posted March 31, 2019 dumb question time - the 3 batter minimum is next year right? Yes sir.
