bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 Shapiro said it was too expensive. Come on now, that surely cant be the reason.. right
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 Was that a 12-6 slider from Stroman? Anyone know if that's new or if it was just a flatter than usual common breaking ball? Curve ball.. The plan is to use more of them.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 Come on now, that surely cant be the reason.. right Yes, they'd have to gut the entire plumbing in the stadium. That would cost a fortune.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 Curve ball.. The plan is to use more of them. It was 86 mph and didn't really move like one, that wasn't a curveball.
barrywpg Verified Member Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 I HATE that strikezone graphic they're using a lot of the time. So distracting. I know what a strike looks like!
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 It was 86 mph and didn't really move like one, that wasn't a curveball. Yeah, it's a Stro curve.
43211234 Verified Member Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 Buck drops a "supple" in describing a young man before Tabby does. You can't predict baseball.
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 Meatball stays in the yard. You can get away with throwing Meatballs when you're throwing them to Jordy f***ing Mercer.
bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 Yes, they'd have to gut the entire plumbing in the stadium. That would cost a fortune. Blah thats tough, turf sucks
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 Yes, they'd have to gut the entire plumbing in the stadium. That would cost a fortune. Rogers has a s*** load of money so lets do it!
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 Rogers has a s*** load of money so lets do it! They would've done it when they put the dirt in, not happening.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 Rogers has a s*** load of money so lets do it! Seriously, but it would probably cost as much as the stadium purchase. Lol
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 Maybe they should just rebuild the current stadium and just play in Montreal for a year.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 I HATE that strikezone graphic they're using a lot of the time. So distracting. I know what a strike looks like! Agreed
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 Lots of low Obp in this lineup... Gonna be a long season
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 Seriously, but it probably cost as much as the stadium purchase. Lol That was like $25 million? Nada.. The IRR on injuries/longevity and not having that as an excuse for attracting players would be well worth it.. Plus the baseball experience..
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 There's Geddy in his typical seats.
Bobthe4th Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 Pat on when Vlad might be called up: “he’ll be here when he gets here”. Insightful.
bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 Wow, stroman actually elevated a fastball (missed his spot though)
BlueRocky Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 Anyone concerned about Gurriel defensively?
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 Zimmermann the new Verlander From s*** to elite
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 Stroman is so good in the field.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 Anyone concerned about Gurriel defensively? No more than I was about Travis. I think he'll be average-ish, but positionally versatile.
