Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted March 22, 2019 Posted March 22, 2019 I know, when I'm watching the Jays i hate the pitcher hitting. When watching an NL game I can mellow out and let it roll. When I'm at PNC Park I can enjoy it a lot.... Does 3 mean the NL reliever can't be subbed as a batter if he only faces 1 to get out of an inning??? A pitcher can't be replaced unless they face 3 batters OR the end of the inning occurs. All it does is prevent the 4 or 5 pitchers an inning nonsense that drags things out forever, nothing else changes.
