Why?? He's shown good defense so far, especially range. He can hit for average, for power, and to all fields.

Just like Jeter

Jeter was a pretty bad defender though... Don't let his unnecessary leaping fool you.

I hate Derek Jeter and everything he represents. He was a selfish POS to an insane degree and his ego dwarfed A-Rod's, he was just quiet about it. He was a s***** defensive SS for almost his entire career and the Yankees traded for a guy who was much better at his position. Did Jeter do right by the team and move? Of course not. A-Rod had to play third because King Derek always had to get his way. The lore around his postseason performance, which was pretty much the same as he's regular season performance, etc.

Clearly a HOF but buoyed by an unearned reputation. One for one, give me a Jim Edmonds, Kenny Lofton, Manny Ramirez or Scott Rolen over Jeter any day.

I agree with you, Jeter is grossly overrated...still a great player but the accolades he gets is hilarious. Egotistical to the max.

He wasn't even THAT good. Playing for the Yankees added to his mystique. If he had played for Arizona, for example, he'd just be another random SS.

You take that back! Derek Jeter is a biracial angel!

Barker on SRF

"I cant believe Sean Reid Foley looks this way (looks terrible as he does). He isn't a 1,2,3 or even a 4 on a rotation that is contending. Worry for me yesterday is that its 90, 90s good hitting."

Alex drafted SRF, right?

Man, I'd forgotten how good Jessica Alba looks. Is she still in the movies?

Thankfully not, as hot as she is, she can't act her way out of a wet paper bag.

JPA is on the Marlins broadcast today. Sounds really dumb lol. But I did get a lol about him laughing at Bellinger getting hit in the balls while stealing. Edited by z3r0s

Nobody should have any hope for Sean Reid-Foley, sadly. I'm not even sure that he profiles as a decent RP anymore - seems like the fastball has taken a notable step backwards.

Just an astoundingly disappointing season for the prospect, after his command seemed to take a step forward finally in 2018.

Ten. Straight. Balls. (to the face)

RIP Reid-Foley. You had such promise.

he looks like a totally different pitcher as a 17 year old. How does someone get so much worse over 5 years that they should be improving..?

Maybe SRF should watch this video for some pointers.

I remember being really high on Sean Reid-Foley out of that draft. Disappointing that his stuff seemingly plateaued and his command has gotten worse. Maybe he will figure it out as a reliever.

I honestly wonder if the velocity drop is just him trying to command his pitches better. The fastball is still basically unhittable when he locates it alright, so if focuses on just increasing his arm strength and coming in firing bullets one inning at a time he could still be a viable reliever who's occasionally unplayable when the command is garbage.
